区别下列几组词汇用法:1.clothes,clothing,cloth;
2.dress,put on,wear,have on,
3.too…to,so…that

1.clothes,clothing,cloth; 2.dress,put on,wear,have on,3.too…to,so…that可不可以稍微简单点...................
2.dress和put on 是穿衣服的动作;wear和have on 是穿着衣服的状态
3.too…to:太……而不能……;so…that:太……
穿衣服”.dress oneself 或 get dressed表示给自己穿衣服.have on的意思是“穿着,戴着
[3].I was so tired that I couldn”t move.
OR:I was too tired to move.
故必须留意并熟记so与that配搭,而too是与to配拾的.

dress +sb. : She dressed her baby.
He dresses well.
人+ Be dressed in +衣服。
Wear:
She is wearing a new coat。

dress +sb. : She dressed her baby.
He dresses well.
人+ Be dressed in +衣服。
Wear:
She is wearing a new coat。
He put on his coat and went out.
Have on 穿着,戴着(状态)
"too…to"和 "so…that…"
I was so tired that I couldn”t move.
OR: I was too tired to move.
故必须留意并熟记so与that配搭,而too是与to配拾的。
(×) The box is too small not to hold all these things.
(√) The box s too small to hold all these things.
adj. so + + that + Clause adv. (从句) adj. too + + to + Infinitive adv.
eg. (1) Helen spoke so rapidly that we could not clearly understand her. Helen spoke too rapidly for us
too understand. (2) Mark was so angry that he could not speak. Mark was too angry to speak.
第三点,就是若 "so …that…" (Main
clause)中的不,改用 "too…to…"
请看下面的分析: eg. (1) The question was so difficult that we could not answer it.
(从句中的Subject为 "we" ,而主句的Subject为 "The question"。) = The question was too difficult for us to
answer. (2) Eddie ran so quickly that we could not catch up with him.
Eddie"。) = Eddie ran too quickly for us to catch up (注意 "him"不用写。)
